CVOICE / Cisco Certified Network Associate Voice(CCNA Voice)

CVOICE provides an understanding of converged voice and data networks and challenges the various network technologies face. In addition to the knowledge and skills required to integrate gateways into an enterprise VoIP network, you'll learn how to build and test a sophisticated IP telephony network that you can use as a template for a real deployment.

The course includes a comprehensive full day on Quality of Service (QoS), in which you'll learn to configure QOS to support real-time traffic.

CVOICE 8.0(642-437)

  • Describe VoIP, voice gateways, special requirements for VoIP calls, codecs and codec complexity, and how DSPs are used as media resources on a voice gateway
  • Configure gateway interconnections to support VoIP and PSTN calls and to integrate with a PSTN and PBX
  • Describe the basic signalling protocols that are used on voice gateways and configure a gateway to support calls using the various signalling protocols
  • Define dial plan, describe the purpose of each dial plan component, and implement a dial plan on a voice gateway
  • Identify traffic types, and apply Quality of Service accrodingly.

CVOICE 6.0(642-436)

CVOICE 6.0(642-636) covers all contents of CVOICE 8.0 except QoS. In addition, it includes:
